In case of problem, provide the result :
- eaglediag -msc for connection problems
- eaglediag -sui for usb problems : you may need to put noapic acpi=off in the append section of /etc/lilo.conf then run lilo -v and reboot with those new parameters
- try having a look at tail -f /var/log/messages in a terminal window, then use startadsl -d (like debug) in another terminal window
